I am lucky that hair and make-up is something that I am very interested in as it is often a part of costume design.

 

I love the art of it and how creative a process it can be. Fantasy make-up and special effects such as bruising and bullet holes is my favorite to do because it allows you to be precise but creative within set rules.

I would have to say period hair is my favorite though, as I am a sucker for anything period and hair is just so fun to research and recreate, especially with all the tools and techniques available to us now.
